Song Activity In this activity, we worked in groups of five or six persons. He took us out of our classroom, we did a kind of game where he said a number and we had to look for the persons of the number he said, and form a line and be walking around. Until he said number six, that is where we formed the group that we were going to work together with.   In the other hand, he had already sent two documents that we had to print for this class. One of the document he sent us, was activity that had five different songs where we have to identify what kind of figurative language it was trying to interpret, idioms , similes , metaphors ,  hyperbole , understatement and personification . And the other document was a text talking about figurative language.  I will leave you the picture of the activity document and you will be able to see the answers on it.

It's a way of comparing to things; they they are unique because they compare things without using the word " like " or " as ".  First Activity: Metaphor Hunt. In our first activity we had to identify each one of the different metaphors that were in the text; try to interpret each one and translate them. Also we had to find words that we didn't understand and look for its meaning.  Second Activity: Graphic Organizer We decided the topic of our organizer and we had to find words that were related to our topic that we chose. I will be leaving you my organizer on the second picture.
