This was an activity that we worked in class. Our teacher gave each one of my classmates a flash card with a different word. We had to investigate the definition and give an example. 

Our teacher told us that, this is an activity that helps us, because at the end we had to presented our word to our classmates. He told us it's necessary, it's a way of learning new words and having much bigger vocabulary. The word that I got was...

B  E  N  D

Meaning: (Verb)  To bend is to cause something to curve without breaking.

Example: High winds had caused the trunk of these trees to bend or curve.

Some of my classmates were able to participate and present their words. We weren't able to to finish this activity but I was able to learn two or three words, that I didn't have no idea.
